I never realized the ridiculous number of doors we have until we started cleaning and painting all of them. In the upstairs, we removed all of them and took them down to the basement to get them all in one central location and out of the way of the renovations. This ended up being something like 20 doors – and we still have about 4 that are still installed (what.. some of us need a door when we use the potty).
So, welcome to this view of the door painting sweat shop- in the “living area” of our basement. Daniela and Elaine helped to prime all of them about a month ago… a long and arduous process considering every door has two sides, and the sliding doors on the closets have “butts” that like to collect drips. But, we did it! However, all the doors have been sitting there primed ever since. I kind of figure doors can be painted and brought upstairs “later on.” At least we got a start!
Does this look fun OR WHAT! You too, could be employed by the door painting sweat shop. The pay is nonexistent but the paint fume inhalation is free! Ding! Just submit your resume here!
