As of late, the nights have been cooler and I’m reminded that fall is coming.  We even got a pumpkin from the CSA when we forgot to select our items for the week.  It graces our front porch.

For Labor day, the traditional “Last weekend of the summer” , we went to Myrtle Beach camping.  We rode some tropical storm waves, played skee-ball in the game room, and had a grand ‘ol time.  We found a seafood market, got clams, and bought a $5 grill from Walmart.  Here’s Oak cooking them up!  Exciting.  Who knew grilling clams was such an effective cooking method?

Luckily, in NC my winter jacket doesn’t normally come out until December or January!  We still have a few months of “summer” left! Yay!
