Yes,  I am still alive, but there are tons of things going on right now which are preventing me from being a good and frequent blogger:

• Alex and Virginia got married- congratulations!
• Durham Bulls game for NextStep.
• Went to the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Charlotte.  It was a lot of fun!  I hope to go again next year!
• Oak’s and my mom’s birthdays, which happen within 3 days of each other — Happy Birthday!
• Sand volleyball finals and tournament (somehow, we still have at least 2 games left, even though we are ranked last in the league.)
• That pesky thing called work.
• Getting an oil change for the car – somehow always is a pain.
• Oak’s family is visiting this week.
• Oak and his dad are  ripping out our carpet and linoleum and replacing it with beautiful bamboo flooring!  Hotness!  Though, a side effect of this process is that all our belongings are stewn throughout our upstairs.  Craziness!
• My camera is broken.   The LCD somehow got cracked.  I have no idea how.

I’m sure there is more.  Let’s just call this a running list.  Be back when things are less crazy – hopefully that happens soon.
