OK, that’s probably something that happens very rarely in Carrie-land, but that was the case this weekend.  All these amazing sales and 50% off coupons at the craft stores and did I use them?? No.  Well, that is until I was able to drag myself up enough to go with Oak to run some errands that we’ve been meaning to run for like a month… A quick stop at Michaels and I got a new file thingy for my patterned papers, and amazingly enough, I found a new pair of jeans at Express for $15!  Holy moly.  I wasn’t in very much of a shopping mood but they were on sale so I had to try them on.  So apparently, in addition to their “editor” pant, the “eva curvy” jeans are also friendly to my figure.  This other pair I tried on (I think they were “Eva skinny” or something) had tons of extra room in the back of the waist.  Jeans are so weird.  That’s why when I try them on, I go to stores that have only one brand (old navy, Express, Limited) and just try every style.  It’s impossible to find jeans in a place that has multiple brands like JCPenney or something.  I don’t have that much energy!

So, anyway, I’ve decided the pollen(TM) and the blah weather are partially to blame for my sickness.  I’m mostly better now other than pumping the sinus medication to keep my headache away.  We had our annual pilgrimage to the Angus Barn last night for Nixon’s birthday, which was excellent.  I’ve got a half a slice of chocolate cheesecake waiting in the fridge when I get home tonight.. yum!
