2 sets of fireworks this weekend!! That’s definitely a first… besides when I worked at Six flags and saw them every night, which barely counts.
Anyhow, where did that weekend go?? Well, the product of (at least part) of the weekend is in our downstairs bathroom, which a) has the ugly wallpaper border removed and b) is now a two-toned paradise of green and BRIGHT green. Ding. Bathrooms are a tad of a pain, as there is a lot of taping off and angles and whatnot. Most of the touchup is done, except the ceiling. We found that for the bumpy ceilings you’re supposed to use this spray stuff for touch up. Who knew. So we have that and have not yet attempted to use it… But soon, yes. Just have to install the fixtures (a new towel ring and toilet paper holder!) and that room is done. Wahoo! Of course, the perfect accessories will also come in time. Must be patient.
I’m sure there is more to talk about, but I’d like to conclude this entry with the fact that Oak and I have concluded that the year 2005 is the year of the hot dog. Our favorites are the Nathan’s hot dogs you buy from the dude at the cart outside of Lowes. They rock.
