geekchic.jpg I came across this link and suddenly became all hot and bothered… (or not). Who would have known that Bill Gates was a teen heartthrob? Though I’m sure it had some sort of heading about young CEOs or something. Oh yes.

Speaking of geeks, I have a strong dislike for the following geek attire:

  • Bright white sneakers with tapered leg jeans
  • Faded black jeans that were hot in the 80s
  • Turtlenecks under sweaters or sweatshirts. (if you desire neck warmth, please choose a turtleneck sweater!)
  • Running shoes in the workplace. You’re not running, you’re sitting in a cubicle!
  • I must say that Bill is looking rather dapper in comparison. Teen Beat must have conducted a quick makeover before this hawt photo shoot. I wonder how many fan letters he got from this one.

What’s wrong with sweatshirts? I find them quite comfy and they don’t look that bad.

It’s not sweatshirts themselves, but the practice of wearing a turtleneck underneath them that is highly unfashionable. In general I feel that sweatshirts are too casual for my office to begin with – we are supposed to be ‘office casual.’ lol.

Ah, wearing a turtleneck is just generally unfashionable I think. Wearing anything not a tshirt under a sweatshirt is silly. You can get away with a collared shirt underneath but not a turtleneck.
