I am trying to make an effort to post more often, perhaps twice a week. Sounds like a reasonable effort, but we shall see.
I’m continuing my annual campaign to complain about daylight savings time. Florescently lit cube farm + sunset at 4:30 pm = Unhappy Carrie. If perhaps the presidential candidates could find a resolution to this problem, I would consider voting. I personally have not found my candidate and am very sick of the stupid political propaganda campaigns on TV. Face it, I am too lazy to vote, but even more disinterested in reading about politics to choose the candidates to vote for. Oy. I am still a dedicated member of the Cosmopolitan party, at least.
Another thing that makes Carrie unhappy is when her car gets ran into. That happened over the weekend, and now I have to meet up with the Geico dudes to get it all straightened out. So far, so good though. If I didn’t have to pay a deductible I’d say so far it’s been a highly pleasant experience with the lizard people. Ah, well.
On a happier note, I’d like to announce that Oak and I are taking a cruise to the Southern Caribbean December 3-12. It shall be hot stuff. Details soon.
