You might have noticed that here on carrievision.com, there is rarely talk of current events or politics.

This, being an election year, I have decided to make a change and become an active citizen. But while investigating the current presidential candidates I thought to myself, “What do I have in common with these politicians?” Apparently, not much. I mean, other than the fact that they might have some daughters that are around my age, the crusty old middle aged white man that is slimy with politician’s residue is not appealing at all! I don’t golf! Or smoke cigars! Or jog through Washington DC, as Presidents do to promote health (while we know they are just jogging to get some Chicken McNuggets, but that’s beside the fact)… even the Democrats introducing a young John Edwards to up their “sex” appeal (LOL!) does not make me want to vote.

That’s why I’ve decided that, depsite my registration as an independent, I am going to join the Cosmopolitan party. The power of a good pair of shoes is far underestimated by the other parties. And screw the Republican convention. I’m going to watch New York Fashion week coverage!
