Thanks to the wonderful land ‘o’ Ikea, our office is now beginning to look like an actual room instead of a barren land of boxes and junk. I promise pictures after everything is organized.
It was very easy to stay in and assemble furniture when it’s hurricaining outside. How I am not used to chills in the air and pouring rain!!! What-ever!

Speaking of IKEA and assembling things, would you like to help me “assemble” the website I have to make sometime next week? Yours is so chic and motifarific, I need one like an eighth of the hotness.

So how badly did it really “hurricane” in NC?
Charley passed right over my town.. we had trees down all over the place.. the entire town still looks like a warzone and people are just now starting to get their power back.. My house lost its roof, and we have some substantial water damage inside the house, and a whole bunch of fence damage..
At least we have our health.. and our hot showers back!

Wow! I am glad you fared okay. The “hurricane” here was more like a couple days of bad rainstorms. But still, people drove like idiots with their hazard lights on while traveling in the left lane on the highway (I’m still trying to figure that one out).
The closest damage anyone got here was some flooding. My tootsies got very wet walking out of work a couple times
Good luck with all your house repairs. All that trading spaces-viewing will come in handy now right?
