Last week Oak, Matt and I drove to DC to see Eve 6 one last time! The Capitol building in the background was extremely punk rock. If only I had realized they wouldn’t really CHECK for cameras, so much. Darn. We did get partially trampled by crazy moshing people (yikes!). Oak and the hippy dude standing next to us were good body guards though, by pushing them away periodically. Ding. Why you would mosh to Eve 6 music, I am not sure. Those people obviously had some pent up negative energy or something!
Alex met up with us in DC, and we got some beers and din-din before the show. I was impressed with the metro, it is so much cleaner and easier to understand than the one in New York. Plus you can actually usually understand the person on the train that announces the stations – haha. I look forward to returning to DC for some shopping and visiting more of the Smithsonian sometime soon.
Tomorrow is 23. Only 7 years until I forever remain 29 years old!
I think they should automatically give you your birthday off of work, don’t you?

Happy Birthday Shanunu! iF ONLY we were together to make another birthday music video together!! Hansi is coming to visit this summer! She’s arriving July 24th and I’m not sure how long she’ll be here. I’m flying home late Thursday (Aug. 5th) night and will be on the East coast until Monday evening (Aug. 9th). I’m not sure if a mini-reunion is possible, but thought I would let you know anyways. Hope you had a great day!!!

Happy Birthday Carrie (again)! Remaining 29 once you hit 29 is a very good idea. Maybe I’ll stay 28 once you start staying 29 so people can’t call us on it. Yes, good plan. Although you do realize that in 30 years the boyfriends or husbands will be 52 or 53 and we’ll still be 29, that would be very hollywood of us. Yes. Jolly good.
