birthdaycolor.gifNow, I’m not huge on taking online quizzes and that kind of thing anymore, but when I was browsing Ljcfyi today, I couldn’t resist discovering my Pantone birthday color.

To those out there that are not graphic design geeks, Pantone colors are basically a huge list of standard colors that designers use to ensure consistency in their printing. There’s a huge expensive book of all the pantone colors that you can buy, and match the colors to your own printing.

Anyhow, July 15th is the lovely Moonlite Mauve. I’m not as much impressed with the color (well, I do like pink). But the description is just soo weirdly accurate. It contains this sentence:

“You have an ability to gather information and relay it to others.”

I didn’t really realize that as one of my personal abilities, but it is indeed my profession. After that I just had to look and see how accurate some other people’s colors were. Most descriptions were pretty true, not entirely accurate all the time, but still lots of fun!

So, what’s your color?

  • Allan Says:

    My color was Dusty Aqua:

“You are a natural ruler and builder and can create things of beauty. People may look to you as a role model as you can appear regal and in control. It is important to blend the qualities of leadership and cooperation in order to acknowledge and honor this position. Dusty Aqua reminds you that love should take precedence over duty. It also helps ground your aspirations in regard to love and family.”

I don’t really care for the color scheme though :(
