The tree is up. Holiday shopping begun. Christmas are in the air.
On an unrelated note, we are now obsessed with the food network. If Oak gets to have a secret affair with Rachel Ray, I get one with Jamie Oliver. (Let’s face it, he’s the man of choice on this channel – I mean Emeril? Wolfgang Puck? come on.) Anne and I always wondered why Jamie never invited us to his pah-ties. Only a matter of time Anne, only a matter of time. I think a trip to England is a must to accomplish this. haha.
After some research, we find that Jamie and Rachel are both happily married. Tragic overture!
The only bad stuff about this damn channel is that it makes you want to eat stuff. Lots of it.

Rachel Ray is THE MOST ANNOYING person I have EVER encountered. I CANNOT believe that a food lover like Oak can even bring himself to WATCH her STUPID UNCREATIVE DEMEANING NON-INTERESTING shows. All of us in section 33 cannot comprehend how she ever became so successful when the content and presentation of every episode she makes is so completely pathetic. I’m very disappointed Oak!

To defend myself:
Plus Rachel Ray doesn’t try to make gourmet foods, its just average joe stuff. And she’s got something related to a cable modem :-p.
I never said she was an excellent chef, though she is fun to watch as eye candy. All the other women are old and nasty

One geek term to describe Oak’s beloved Rachel : DSL, baby.
I admit I do like the show where she travels and eats cheaply, though she’s a horrible tipper! I hope she never comes to any of your restaurants, Shira!
P.S. I’m sure Rachel is soon to lose her youth. Shira, I fully expect you to take over when she becomes, in the words of Oak, “old and nasty.” Your desserts will be much hotter! She seems to like to dump fruit on angel food cake and call it dessert.

Yeah Jamie is the Naked Chef. I think two of his books have that title of some sort? I will prompt her to snap some shots, especially with POOH in the dead center of the tree!!

I made Carrie’s website! Woohoo! This is true though, I do want to go to a Jamie Oliver pah-teeee. We need an invite. Or a trip to England, and then we’ll crash it. And Rachel Ray is annoying. Jamie Oliver recently came to Copia (one of the more famous wineries here in the Napa Valley
). One of the girls from school got tickets and said he was even hotter in person than he is on tv and that about 6 women in the front row actually fainted! (hahaha, ok so that’s a bit of a dramatization). You guys are totally welcome to come visit me (here in the heart of wine country) whenever you want!

Hey guys, Im new here and was wondering what exactly is this web site?? I saw the rachel ray comments and kinda caught my eye as I was pass’n through. I like rachel too, of course Im 32 so she is more my age. I never met her so I cant make comments, although she has a beautiful smile. Thats all it takes for me. Im not a food network follower, but I do like iron chef mostly. I saw the rachel $40 a day once or twice and thought she was really cute. Hey, one more thing, Ive been planning a trip to jolly ol’ england for the longest time, just never got around to going. Went to my friends in cerveny kostelec in czech rep. though. Was a great time. I spent a month and a half drinking czech beer and flirting with czech girls. I have a few people in london that I want to meet up with hopefully soon. Hey Y’all! I just passed through this site and read everything here…got lots of laughs! Y’all sound like fun. I thought I’d drop my own opinion…JAMIE…in the words of Rachel, Uh, YUMO! Ick, I hate that word though. As a matter of fact, I used to absolutely LOVE Rachel when she first started. I’m quite the aspiring baker so I follow the channel but she’s changed. Here’s why I don’t like her…and this really tipped the scales for me. She’s one of those girls who has to have men’s attention and will step on a woman to get it..girls, you know what I mean. The Inside Dish ep, where she is dishing with J. Hennessey…did she not spend more attention to J’s hubby than J? I mean, what’s up with that…you could totally tell that J caught on too. She was like goo goo ga ga over the hubby the whole time. Also, the M. Pfiefer ep…she is engaged at this point right? She was so drunk and coming on to him that I lost all respect. Now when I watch her more recent shows…I just feel like there is sandpaper running up and down my nerves. What is it about her? I mean she is on dishing with Aisha Tyler saying the no carb people suck, on 30 mm she says no way could she ever do the low or no carb thing, next day and ever since, she’s been doing no carb shows, admitting she’s doing the “no carb” thing. What a hypocrit right? I saw the pics…thought they were sick. She has the girl next door face that doesn’t match her body…now I can see why a guy finds her attractive, she cooks and eats like a man but come on, thunder thighs and flat chested? I think every girl should have some meat on her bones and I’ll admit myself when I think another girl has got it going on but I just don’t see it in Rachel. Those pics were so obviously retouched again and again (www.fhmus.com) So…thank you for letting me vent my opinion. Now, if I hear YUMO, B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L, EXCELLENT or MM MM MM MM MM one more time, I may have my cable shut off….damn it! ICK ICK ICK.
BTW, Giada is a good looking gal and Tyler ain’t bad so there aren’t JUST old and nasties on FN…right?

Over the course of the few months I have not posted. I have seen how funny Rachel is. Not in a good way……lol. She laughs at everything and says yum, yummy or yummo to much. I like her but she is starting to get on my nerves. Now I see why most of you think she is annoying..LMAO
