Another hectic traveling weekend! This weekend was off to Virginia Beach for Keith and Heather’s wedding.
First though, on Friday we got their gift and saw Finding Nemo at Raleighwood Cinema and Grill. It is so fun to eat a dinner and watch a movie! Plus I’ve been dying to see Finding Nemo. It was highly entertaining and makes me want to go diving in the Great Barrier Reef. Ah, one day, one day.
The wedding on Saturday, then before we left on Sunday went to Norfolk Botanical Garden. Took lots of purdy flower pictures! Went on a tram tour of it too. It would be awesome to be there in May when everything is in bloom. Still, the rose garden was producing flowers of many colors! Hot!
We rounded out the trip with a lunch at K&W Norfolk (where else?). I think Oak’s goal is to hit every K&W. (Not hard considering they are only in Virginia, North and South Carolina). We’ll see.
I’m getting excited about Halloween. Trying to restrain myself from buying Halloween candy because I will surely eat it all before any Trick-or-treaters make it. We did get a cool Halloween candy bowl at Wal-mart. Hot stuff. I want to carve fancy pumpkins with templates though we don’t have much of a door stoop to put them on.
Time to watch Jamie’s Kitchen. A cooking reality show. What next? I have to take notes for Oak since he is gone to NY for the weekend. He’s missing good TV here! D’oh!
