Alas! The white team ended the regular season 9-1. It didn’t help that the silly ‘ol blue team had about twice as many people as us for the last game. Grrr! haha. But championships start soon! eek!

Fall always seems to make my allergies go beserk, and it seems that it’s also the case here in North Carolina. It’s also *cold* here, highs of about 60 degrees. So New Yorkers, it’s really not any warmer here at this juncture.

Been decorating the apartment almost constantly lately. The ikea stuff is definitely making it more homey, along with the hot new furniture. Oak and I are still working on the perfect pieces for the walls – we got one for the dining room at Big Lots yesterday for only $10! Score. Should have gotten the HUGE flower canvas from Ikea for above the loveseat. Now we just have to find an excuse to make the road trip again. hehehe.

The TV cart situation is pretty annoying. The cart we wanted at Ikea was sold out. So yesterday at Walmart, we bought one that we *thought* rotated. Well, it rotates but only about 4″ to each side. WHATEVER! I guess we need to get what we originally planned, one with wheels on the bottom. Poor Oak has to take the one we bought apart so we can return it.
