I apologize for my slight hiatus. Between graduation and everything else, I haven’t really felt much for typing on here, I suppose.
This week Oak and I took a trippie-poo to North Carolina to find an apartment. It is quite lovely, (pictures of the model of my apartment here, sorry I didn’t make them all fancy on the web). I must say how dorky it is that the name of the complex and the city it resides in phonetically match mine and Oak’s first names. It was like we were meant to live there.
Oak had lots of fun making fun of the bright green Ford Focus that we had as a rental car. He said it was ultra-ghetto, though I was still impressed, the Focus did have a CD player, which my Escort lacks. Anyhow, I appreciate Oak’s contribution to helping me keep my sanity during this extremely intensive search process. We also had lots of fun, touring the local malls, eating exotic cuisine, and taking pictures at Duke Gardens. Flower pictures are so fun!
I promise to try to write more soon. For now I am tired and must go to sleep, I suppose.

Hi Carrie! I looked at the pictures of your chosen apartment – it’s so nice! And pretty spacious too, even an office! I’m sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye after graduation – I didn’t really see anybody but Pat afterward, and realized that I should have said all my goodbyes (and taken pictures, at that) when we were all lining up before the ceremony.

Your apartment is so hot especially because I get to live in the office! Oh yes, the former screened-in porch/office will be my bedroom and I love it already. I can’t wait until you get down there – what am I supposed to do for the first week without a TV? That’s ok, I’ll start crocheting bright orange slip covers for the couch.

Carrie–your new apartment looks even hotter than the last–if that’s freaking possible!! AIEEE!! How exciting! When are you moving there for good? you must be busy packing and whatnot–fun fun fun. Glad to hear your trip was nice! ttys!
