May I express already my dislike of packing. I don’t know how people pack up entire houses; it’s taken me long enough to pack up a tiny dorm room (of course, a room in which every nook and cranny has purpose; it has to be that way). Not to mention my allergy to dust, causing me to be sniffly, sneezy and miserable during the entire process. Sigh. And it has just begun.

In a few days I get to don a silly outfit and commence (is that a verb?). It is somewhat maddening, I have to wear a yellow hood. Why not a hot red or orange one, like the engineering and arts majors? Haha. Not that the rest of the getup is that attractive anyhow.

Today was our “Zero-Year Reunion.” RPI actually provided us with booze before noon. Rumor has it that drinking before noon means you’re an alcoholic, therefore RPI was fueling its alcoholic students. Of course, I made my champagne into a Mimosa which was quite tasty. And we got to keep the champagne glasses. Score.

More sometime soon – must get back to the packing thing :-p
