My left thumb has been deemed a useless (and painful) appendage. You really never realize the benefits of the opposable thumbs until they are out of order. Poopy.
Our conceptual design memo for Studio Design in HCI is so hot. It’s got serious bling bling (Well.. that means “graphics-intensive” as far as powerpoints go.. last I knew powerpoint presentations do not enjoy wearing heavy pieces of jewelry, it would be a serious bandwidth-eater).
We actually got in the water in scuba today! (Hence the subject.. that’s the PADI slogan.. lol) Wooo! We had to do a 200 meter swim. I finished last, being the only girl in the class. Of course. It seems most guys seem to think everything is a race – we weren’t even being timed for this and they were all huffing and puffing by the end. The point was to see if you could swim to begin with – not how fast you can swim! The reason I enjoy scuba as a sport to begin with is that it’s relaxed, calm, and NOT a race (In fact, by swimming fast you use up more of your air. So there.). We’ll see how things work as people get under water. Hehe.
