Nora Jones won too many Grammies. Like 6 or something! I just thought that was ridiculous. I was kind of disappointed to see no really hot outfits on the awards show either – what the heck were the Dixie Chicks wearing? Plus I think I can pull off the fake hair much better than Natalie Maines did (even though Oak hates fake hair and has forbid me to wear it.. I can be sneaky sometimes.. well by wearing it when I’m not going to see him, haha).
I was sad that Godsmack didn’t win best Hard rock single. Boo.
In other music news, I heard Eve 6’s new CD is coming out on May 6th. This makes me happy because I am pretty darn sick of everything on my mp3 list. Though I have heard the CD was coming out many times earlier, so who knows. It’s long overdue, their last CD was released in 2000. Geez.
Shira and I also had fun looking for “bling bling” (extra gaudy jewelry) on all the musicians. Gee there was a lot of it. We considered making our own bling bling out of cardboard and glitter glue. That would be so hot!
I’m tired. The Big Interview at Big Blue was Thursday and Friday – my second time on an airplane down to Research Triangle Park, NC. It was so warm there – like 50 degrees. Hopefully things went well!
Shira came to visit this weekend! We made some really hot shirts out of $2 babies at S&A Boutique – instructions coming to Queen Motifas soon!
2 weeks till spring break! We’re going on (another) cruise! This one is a 4-day on Norwegian to Key West and the Bahamas. Hot stuff! I haven’t even finished the first website yet, lol Anyway, I’m excited! Bling Bling!

Let’s face it, this morning I was Milton, personified. The “finisher” on the copier in the friendly Computer Science department has been broken for a few days. That means we have to collate and staple everything manually. So I was stapling for 2 hours straight this morning. And the pesky stapler would occasionnally get jammed as well (it really doesn’t like the little staple pieces!
A red Swingline would have done this job much easier. Speaking of red, Happy Valentine’s Day!

I hate to be posting about the weather all the time, but I feel it has a high annoyance factor in my life. Today I had to walk a contract to, obviously, the contracts and grants office which is located in West Hall (the bottom corner of campus.. boo). When I looked out the window this morning, there was no snow on the sidewalks. Well, there was a monsoon of snow while I was at workstudy and now my tootsies are all cold from walking the 10 minutes from Lally Hall to my dorm.
Work seems to be piled on this week. What a pain. I am not feeling very motivated to do any of it. I actually enjoy doing my logos for the corporate identity presentation boards I have to make for tomorrow, but the thought of having to walk to the VCC tonight to pick up print-outs is highly unappetizing.
RPI should incorporate “sleigh and pack of dogs” into their tuition expense projection worksheet. Or at least get some of those engineering people working on heated capsules that would propel us to class (like on the jetsons! those are awesome.) I think I’ll write a strongly worded letter about this right now.
Oh, and could you believe they faked out the “finale” of Joe Millionaire! Like we really needed to see a summary of the WHOLE SHOW all over again! Whatever!
