As promised, I am back from my travels!

Our cruise was fabulous. Oak and I are both really excited about getting SCUBA certified next semester. We mingled with old people (they love their cruises… I need to have them teach me to play the nickel slots). We ate gourmet meals with 4 different forks. We hiked through the jungle. We rode on tubes through Belizian caves. We hung out with some very cool striped fishies and held live starfish! We partied with the Mexicans. We sampled many kinds of Carribean beers. And tequilas.. and margaritas… I’m sure you can see where that’s going.

The whole cruise consensus: we really liked the days at port, being able to explore a new place each day. The days at sea, however, we felt were a little constricting – just because there isn’t many activities geared toward the young couple crowd. They had bingo and art auctions instead of say, a beirut tournament. :) haha. We did get our butts kicked in Friends trivia, however. And we thought we would win for sure! (Laura, Queen of Friends Trivia, where are you when we need you?!) Next time we plan on as many ports of call as possible! Yaaahooo. I should have suggested the beirut tournament on our comment card. Damn it.

We have HUNDREDS of photos – digital and prints – from our trip. It might take me awhile to get them all organized into an album with appropriate commentary, but don’t you worry, it’s coming!

Christmas also rocked the house. Oak drove me back upstate and hung out for a day with the rents before he headed back home. He is desparately in love with my mom’s new chihuahua, Lucy… he said that she is now the most important woman in his life. Can we say “hhmmmmph!” to that?! haha.

I got all sorts of goodie goods for the holiday. I always forget to mention some things, but I think the most notables included a new white gold necklace, a hot black business suit (for many job interviews hopefully), 3 pairs of shoes (because you can NEVER have too many!!!! NEVER!), some assorted tops/bottoms, a Diva Star (because I refuse to grow up completely)… even the Ebay board game. RPI people, be ready to be solicited to battle me in auction!

Needless to say, I am a spoiled spoiled spoiled little brat. It was an awesome 2 weeks! Hopefully over break I will be motivated to get some designing done and get my portfolio ready too! We’ll see about that. Yes.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all and to all a good night!!! :-D
