And I’ve been busy. Or something. I really don’t know, but something has been tearing me away from my computer lately. It could be the fact that my computer is also severely malfunctioning, making it a large pain to do just about anything. I digress.

Oak tried to outshop me on Tuesday. He almost did, dragging me around trying to find a forest green dress shirt. Not olive. Not mint. Not grass. Forest. It seemed that all the forest ones were by Ralph Lauren and cost like $45. Boo. I never realized how expensive guys’ dress clothes are. A shirt and tie cost about as much as a decent new dress would, and that’s not even with the coat and pants and whatnot. Though I suppose guys can get away with wearing these things on more than one occasion. I think the theory that women can only wear dresses once is so that people don’t get confused when looking at pictures of a special event.. “This one must be from Aunt Zelda’s 50th birthday, because I wore the pink chiffon, not the orange silk!” Whereas guys wear the same thing over and over. We’d look at photos and be totally confused as to when the events occurred all the time.

Anne and I went to get our hair cut yesterday! It was exciting. I haven’t had a decent haircut in quite awhile. We went to Rumors in Latham, where I also got a free chocolate bar for my first visit! Yahoo! I got like 4″ off the bottom and got an “edgy” look. Yay. We also got our eyebrows waxed. Mmm, pain! :)

Of course, I never can quite recreate the hairstyle the next day. I think it might help if I had the styling balm/lotion/whatever stuff she put on the ends to make them look spiky. I tried spray gel, but now the ends are just rocklike. Maybe I’ll have to invest in some of the lotiony stuff.

I’m starting to get a bit nervous about the cruise.. with all these active trips we have planned, I am bound to do something dumb at one point or another! “Belize tourist falls off of cave tube and swept underwater to be eaten by the ugly fish” … “Vicious horse throws inexperienced rider off to be left in the Mayan Jungle to decay with the ruins”… oh dear.. hehe :) I really hope there aren’t ugly fish. This seems to be one of my large fears that hopefully I can conquer next week.

Really, Oak and I are quite excited! And don’t you worry, there will be many many pictures because Oak is taking, oh 15 cameras along with us. Hehe :)

What else, oh we are going with Anne and Dan to see some Christmas lights tonight!! yahoo!

I’ll be back to post from home around Christmas time!
