After years of doing cross-stitch for my mom, going insane counting gazillions of tiny stitches, I didn’t think I would ever be turned on to do needlework again. However, we could make tea towels that are so hot it would be silly not to make them!!

Plus, it seems pretty cheap. The towel would be the most expensive part. Haha. I sense a new motifa project!

Oh gosh, those are really cute patterns. I don’t know how often anyone would really use tea towels though…do you think we could sew them onto something else…perhaps we could make a collage of embroidery and transform it into a wall hanging…depending on how difficult that would be. Hmm what else could we put it on…napkins? can you sew onto paper? if so we could make some stationary lol-but really that would be hot for christmas cards and whatnot. gold thread for twinkling lights…or maybe just for the star on top of a christmas tree…or we could perhaps sew little bags and embroider them and use them as sachets (OH GOD remember our first sachet experience?!?!) We could do a christmas smelling sachet though, with cinamon and cloves and pine needles…they could be presents, or a festive ornament for wrapping.

We should definitely get the tiki patterns- they would most definitely complement your new room make-over!

Now that I think about it the “Asian-themed” ones would go in our common area theme. Can we say score?
