Ditch that can
Thanksgiving is coming up and that means cranberry sauce! At our house, cranberry sauce is not in the same category as gravy or butter, but holds its own as a main dish. I recently did a taste test between canned cranberry sauce and homemade cranberry sauce, and let me tell you–there is just no comparison. The cranberries in homemade cranberry sauce are a whole different fruit. Homemade sauce is so easy to make, you should really give it a go this Thanksgiving.

Sharp 203 girls, we definitely can use some of these tips to finish up ours! We did make hot pillows, yes, but next time we are all watching Trading Spaces I think we need to tackle WALL HANGINGS! 
Creating atmosphere in a new apartment or room can be an ENORMOUS obstacle for us 20 somethings who lack da booty (aka dinero). Afterall, if you’ve only got enough money to buy meat once a month, you certainly are not going to spend your hard earned money on sprucing up your living room! This is currently my favorite cookie recipe. It is SO easy and SO yummy. I am very particular about my chocolate…a recipe really has to provide a quality chocolate flavor to satisfy my needs, and this recipe satisfies me every time! Plus, it only has 7 ingredients that you probably have in your house already. I am providing the halved recipe, which is what I usually use as there are only two of us available to eat these delights.

After years of doing cross-stitch for my mom, going insane counting gazillions of tiny stitches, I didn’t think I would ever be turned on to do needlework again. However, we could make tea towels that are so hot it would be silly not to make them!!
Plus, it seems pretty cheap. The towel would be the most expensive part. Haha. I sense a new motifa project!
So, tell me, which is more annoying?
A)The new MSN commercials with the humanistic butterflies?
or
B) The “I saved Christmas because I plugged the digital camera into the computer!” ……and….. “I Switched to Apple because I couldn’t figure out the PC!” commercials
I’m clearly in a tizzy about this. It seems the most effective commercials just end up annoying people to no end… Whaaazzzzup??
Man this was a rough week. I stayed up helping Oak write a paper on Wednesday and got barely any sleep (oh, 3 hours or so) and then the day after that I was so tired I wanted to cry! haha.. Sleep breakdown time.
This was an okay weekend. Went out to eat a lot! haha. On Friday night Laura and I went to Bugaboo Creek for dinner at the mall. It was mighty tast-ay. We also went to see The Importance of Being Earnest by the RPI players. So I finally went in the Playhouse! yahoo. That building is so cute.
We saw Anne briefly afterwards. Anne, when are we actually going to get our butts moving and have a serious tator tot party? haha
So anyway, because of my lack of sleep, I now have a cold so I spent the better part of the afternoon filling my wastebasket full of powder-blue kleenex. Sometimes I wonder how so much “stuff” manages to come out of our bodies.
On to Saturday… was lazy most of the afternoon until we had an earlyish dinner at Hooters (yes to the mall again! yahoo.. however, no shopping was done. boo). Then we had a mini girl-get together and sewed pillows and watched Trading Spaces and Meet the Parents. Haha … We’re so geeky. Though the black pillow I made is very hot. Oooh baby!
Now my nose is red and I don’t feel much like doing homework. I did have some fun with XSL already! Yay. I actually almost had an amusing doing that. Whenever you’re allowed to play with colors, oh yeah that’s my bag I’ll link what I did once I get it done. wohoo.
Enough babbling.
