I now remember lovely Troy, NY weather. It is currently pouring rain and only fifty degrees outside. Silly Carrie wore sandals, thinking it was the warm kind of rain. D’oh. At least I brought an umbrella!
Last night Laura and I went to see Amelie. It was the first movie with subtitles that I have ever watched in entirety. I feel so cultured now.
Apparently RPI has some of the unhappiest college students in America. I wonder which student they asked about that one. Probably an engineering student in the in the last weeks of IED (engineering design, supposedly very very horrid). I certainly don’t remember being asked. I noticed that SUNY Albany was also listed. Maybe it is the capital region’s fault.
And how do they figure these things out anyway? “Rate your happiness from one to ten.” If you are unhappy, it’s obviously your school’s fault. Hmm.
I have always liked the first day of school and autumn. Something about bright shiny books, a new outfit, and nice weather.. too bad those little class things get in the way. Plus I always like that people are out frolicking at this time of year. I, on the other hand, have been just unpacking pretty much. Which is fun.
I am still trying to figure out the best way to decorate my walls in good ‘ol Sharp. I want it to look a little bit different from last year. So it is taking some time and consideration. I have to make my beginning-of-the-year walmart run soon. I need a poster frame. Once I have that I can figure out how I want the rest of everything else to look. It’s very involved, but it’s better to make things enjoyable since it is my only personal space. (and only 8×14′ at that).
Classes are good so far. IT capstone is basically the same thing as Managing IT Resources I think. The American Musical should be fun. Just lots of watching movies and having class sing-a-longs. Wooey! I have 3 more classes tomorrow to find out about.
score.
Hello hello.
Just a note to say that I am home in lovely Wyoming, NY. Wooey. The trip home was fun and I will elaborate on it more later, but now I am suffering from an allergy attack of sorts. New York is just full of allergens. There’s too much nature here I think. hehe.
Plus I am having to share the (very very slow) internet connection. Hehe. Will post again soon!
I will be busy doing the following the next few days:
- My last day of work
- Visiting Shira and packing packing packing!
- Going to Ikea in Woodbridge, Virginia.
- Staying at Holiday Inn in the nations most beautiful state, New Jersey!
- Visiting my man on his 21st birthday! He is even treating us to lunch at the restaurant he works at!
- Arriving in loverly LeRoy/wonderous Wyoming, NY!
I move in T minus 3 days. I am really starting to wonder if all my loads of crap are really going to fit in poor little ‘ol Greenlee. I should start checking that situation out ASAP. Oh man.
Lucky #200th comment was made by Allan. I think he is a cheater though because he was also #199!! haha
Anyway, congratulations! lol.
I never knew Nancy Drew was such a queen of fashion. Apparently I wasted all my time reading Babysitters’ club when I would have been much better invested reading about Ms. Drew’s detective work. After all, I never babysat anyone, I proabably should have learned to be a spy instead. Damn it.
By the way, I now have 198 comments. Who will be lucky #200???
Perhaps I can announce the winner in a special entry (I’ll even plug your website if you have one! wooey! Now is that a prize or what?!? You might get 2 whole visitors from that!).
People actually get paid to Test Kitty Litter on their pets and write about it? Last week it was malt beverage tests, now this? What is the world coming to?
