Was just watching the Simpsons episode where Marge gets her own pretzel company, and her first big order is from Batavia, NY! I think that is hilarious, it’s 2 towns over from where I grew up, and certainly not a world metropolis.

Hehe, I was watching the movie “Summer Catch” on HBO the other night, and at the end Freddie Prinze Jr. is signed to the Pittsburgh Pirates, and first has to play in Batavia, NY for the Muckdogs!! Definitely a Western NY thing that made me laugh!

the creator of the simpsons grew up about 2 miles from where i live right now. i can tell you any simpsons crap you want to know. i know the state, why the people are yellow, where the real nuclear plant is, etc.

the people are yellow because the street lights in springfield, oregon are yellow. they’re oval shaped, like homers head, and are the same color as the caution yellow light in a regular traffic signal, so everyon is constantly slowing down and speeding up cuz we don’t know what we’re supposed to do. lol. it’s sad.
