Well, this was a Monday just like any other. I got a test back (woot woot) and unsurprisingly, Literature class was cancelled (for oh, the third or fourth time this semester). Not that I’m complaining.

I also got a flu shot, so hopefully I won’t get sick very often over the winter. I had a rather.. undelicious meal at the Commons tonight, but I would like to mention my new obsession with tater tots.

I eat tater tots every morning for breakfast. I really need to stop, since I’m sure they are not the healthiest dish available. But SO YUMMY! Today I had some grapefruit with my tater tots to round things out a little bit. So I did have some nutritional value. Then again, all if I gave up tater tots all I would do is complain on here how I WANT tater tots. I might as well die happy. Maybe I’ll start being obsessed with whole-grain cereal or something soon. (doubtful.)

I went to Best Buy with some guys yesterday. And they complain about how women shop. They spent like 45 minutes in the car stereo section! And I’m sure car stereos are about as exciting to me as clothes or home decor items are to them. Based on this argument, I think boys need to stop complaining about women shoppers. hehe ;-)

have you ever seen that commercial for circuit city where the girl and the guy are in front of the store and the chick is like, “we’re just coming in here for that *one*thing, right? then we’re leaving?” and the guy nods. so the doors open up grandiously (sp?? is that even a word?) and the guy kind of stares there for a second, taking all the gadgets and toys in, and then he goes running in, disappearing into the depths of the store and the chick sighs.

that is so fred. that is so most guys!! so i feel your pain. :-) whenever i go shopping it’s all about the gadgets with them.

Gadgets are life. Clothing stores and gadget stores should always be adjacent, such that couples will not lose each other after separating to shop in each.

I think the reason gadget shopping is fun for me and clothing shopping is not is that gadgets provide intense immediate satisfaction, while clothing provides only low-level pleasure (albeit repeatedly).
